      A:  Hi Andrea. Thank you for your question. The 800 Series Condensation Compact Dryer has a drain hose that can be drained in the same location as the drain hose on the Washer.

        A:  We directed ours to there same drain our washing machine uses. The dryer drain hose is narrow, fit along side the washer hose into the drain no problem.

            A:  Hi jones77. Thank you for your question. The 800 Series Compact Dryer includes a NEMA 14-30 208-240V cord with a 4-prong plug. If you would like to change that to a 3-prong, the instructions are in the Installation Guide.

              Very happy with this dryer.

It is a quality machine, holds plenty of items, gives the user many choices, great digital messaging, very quiet. The lack of an outside vent was perfect for my laundry room remodel. I purchased the pull out shelf for my stacking set and love it as well.

                Technological Marvel!!!!!!
                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In reviewing compact washer/dryer's, naturally we first looked at Bosch. If any one firm can use the current technology to produce a safe, efficient product, there is no doubt that Bosch can and will. My in-depth research proved that based on reviews, Bosch made a great Ductless Dryer and very efficient washer. The technology for the dryer is amazing and we actually get nice dry clothes from the dryer without the use of a vent. My research also reinforced my views of the safety of this dryer. We are so pleased that I feel that the Washer/Dryer Combination should be at the center of our room, not in the laundry room (OK, that may be stretching it). Thank you Bosch for a hard working, efficient and very safe product.

                  Great performance in small places

                    Best dryer ever
                    This dryer is safe (no ducts/vents to clog with lint), gentle on clothes, requires no fabric softener, fast (you have to simply take the clothes out when they are done), and much cleaner for the environment. The folks who think it doesn't dry clothes are mistaking the way it feels when the clothes are sitting in the dryer. Clothes need to come out and fluff in the room air and then they feel perfectly dry.) also the lu t trap is super easy to clean. I found a YouTube video in it--just rinse with water!! I love this dryer.

                      Works efficiently and effectively
                      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a new replacement for a 2017 version of a Bosch 800 series dryer that had digital control issues. (I am glad that I purchased an extended 5 year warranty). Bosch has made a few changes to the operational settings. I do not know if any more sttuctual changes were made. It works well.

                        Compact dryer
                        [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer takes much too long for clothes to dry. The inside near the condenser is always wet after each load. I must wipe this up or it drips out. Am very unhappy with this dryer.

                          Absolutely horrible; we now use a clothes line
                          This was purchased based on positive reviews and it was the only dryer the fit the space we had. Nearly 2 years later this has been the worst purchase. It doesn't dry clothes as much as it makes them hot. It take 3 hours for a load to get damp and I've never had dry clothes come out of this horrible dryer. It is so bad it is causing stress in the house as we fear having to use the dryer. We now use a clothes line out side, which I guess is how this thing is so energy efficient as it rarely gets used. I would give this 0 or even negative stars but I can't so it gets a 1.

                            Dryer
                            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first our stackable washer / Dryer was a turn off when we purchased the home. How wrong I was. It was even better than I could imagine. Clothes are fluffier if that is even a word. Softer to the touch and seem to dry and not shrink. Wow. What was I waiting for so long to go with a front loader and not a top loading machine!

                                Great Apartment Dryer

This is my second Bosch condensation dryer, and the 800 series only gets better. Love the redesigned, larger lint trap, and the reversible door. The new drying programs are spot on.
