Unbelievably Quiet!

Bosch best in many ways!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glad I chose this machine 16 settings large than needed but it s most versatile for dishes, bowls, glassware and pots. The flatware rack I have come to love! Organize the flatware placement or small bowels on rack and compared to just standing flatware in a bunch. It results in being clearer and 1/10 of time to put away. Remarkably quiet, plastics dry no extra towel drying even glassware and pots sparkle. Love the app and remote start! Last one lasted over 19 years and just updated for new functions! We have had it about 2 months. Recommend highly.

A dishwasher done right.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace our dishwasher and were torn between buying just another dishwasher or splurging a little on something better. We decided to splurge a little and yet we could not decide between the Bosch 300 or 800 series. After some deliberation, we decide on the Bosch 800 Series (Model: SHP78CM5N) and we are quite pleased with our choice. It is a well built machine, beautiful to look at and most importantly it really works great. Not to mention it is absoluely the quietest dishwasher we have ever had. After its first use, it was very apparent just how lacking our old dishwasher was. Everything that goes in comes out sparkling clean and completely dry. We have found that the third rack (for silverware) takes some getting use to, but our silverware is definately coming out much cleaner. If you find yourself in need of a new dishwasher, we can honestly say that you cannot go wrong with the Bosch 800 Series. Now we just have to hope that its durable and gives us years of troble free service.

A dishwasher done right.

Installation team terrible
Please do not have Home Depot to install appliances. They skipped steps while not being thorough and now my dishwasher needs a Bosch tech to come fix error code due to improper installation. For average homeowner that is not familiar with how things are put together will think it’s great but for someone that knows or in the field will see that they did a poor job that’s quick so they can get off early is simply not ok in our standard. (Dishwasher not leveled, air gap installation incorrectly)

BOSCH ROCKS!

Easy to Install
I installed the Bosch unit myself and compared to other dishwashers this is easy to install. My only complaints is the metal over the door is thin/cheap and easy to dent or bend, and the tablet/drying agent refills/release are made cheaply. Overall it’s easy to install, operates quietly, seems to work well, the home connect app is more gimmicky than useful, the rack setup is great, for the price there things made less sturdy than I’d expect and hopefully it lasts 10 years with no major issues.

Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Bosch 800 Series SHP78CM5N is quite simply amazing. The look is very sleek and modern. The control panel is hidden (no children will change cycles on you). I have never had a dishwasher that holds so many dishes. We actually have to wash dishes before it is full as we need dishes again. It is exceptionally quiet. I have had to put my hand on it to be sure it is running. The absolute best thing.....we have not had one dish that needs to be rewashed. Everything is sparkling clean.

Super Quiet and Super Clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing and fancy looking dishwasher. Quiet without a doubt. We ran a sanitizing cycle, and it took a few hours. Really only need this on rare occasions but had to try it out. Lots of buttons and options and I still need the guide to program it. We'll mostly use normal. The dishes come out very clean and dry. One item placed on the top 3rd rack didn't clean very well but it really should have been on the bottom rack.
The bottom rack was very difficult initially to push fully in until after running a few cycles. It's much easier now, still firm but not sticky. The top 2 racks move easily. The 2nd rack can be adjusted vertically giving more height to either the bottom or middle depending on whether the rack is adjusted up or down. The silverware bin is on the bottom and is a lot smaller than we're used to. However, the top 3rd rack can hold very flat items like silverware or measuring cups. It will get used since the silverware basket is small. Also, the 3rd rack can be adjusted to be a bit deeper.
Installation
Took an hour to install, not counting removal of the old one. The package does not include the water line hose or the connection part. You must have them before starting. The old machine was hardwired. We had to redo the electric, but they provide the 3-prong plug and a special outlet box which their plug is wired to directly.
Connection to WI-FI took a few tries. I had to reset twice by holding the reset button for 4 seconds. The display refreshed and then the Wi-Fi connection worked. Not sure if I really need the app. The app allows for remote start and informs when a cycle is complete. You can set a default, it does tell you if it's running, if the door is open or when to add drying agents and when to clean the filter.
Where this unit shines is how quiet it is, the cleaning which is why we have it and the options including sanitizing and drying.
