I am not getting a Switch-Off Height (in.) of 3.2" I am getting around 5" of standing water in the pit after discharge... Do you think I have a faulty pump? I really wish the float was adjustable
Asked by: ChrisRoben
Your float is shutting the unit down before the sump fully drains. It's likely not faulty if its activating at the same water level each time it activates. The only way you are going to get all or more of the water out with each activation would be to dig your sump deeper. My sump doesn't drain fully either, but I am not looking to dig the sump pit deeper.

Could you adjust the float

Asked by: Butch
No, the float is not adjustable. From the floats lowest position (off) till it rises up and turns the pump on is approximately three inches.
