Not a good buy if it lasts a few years!!
Less than 5 yrs old and just stopped working . Switch has power , power going to dishwasher. Not happy with an appliance lasting a few years!! Definitely won’t be going with GE if I have to buy a new one!!

          Random beeping then no power
Having same issue as the other reviews. Randomly turns on and beeps throughout the day. Then if I don’t use for a couple days the beeping stops and no power at all. Try turning breaker on and off and then works again for a month or two. Then repeat. Now this time, can’t get any power.

            Need electrical disgram
We've owned this dishwasher for 4 or 5 years. It's always done a great cleaning and drying the dishes and hasn't given a bit of trouble until yesterday. It final quit, probably the board. Where can I find the electrical diagram?

              Won’t Drain is Normal Operation
Not a cheap dishwasher but certainly operates like it is. Every 3 months something gets stuck in the pump …or maybe it doesn’t. I have no idea because I can never reach inside to clear it. I have to start a new cycle and then cancel that cycle to manually drain. I’ve had technicians out at least 3x and they fix it. Good people for sure. I follow their advice. We were at the point where I was the only one allowed to put dishes away to ensure everything was rinsed off before loading. Still runs into drainage issue. The filter doesn’t even make sense to me. The amount of screens that encompass the drain - I should be able to throw a dish with a Turkey carcass in there and not worry about obstructing the pump. The only things those screens stop from getting through the drain appears to be water. I have soft water in the house. So no mineral build up anywhere. Dishwasher problems and frequent tech visits is the clearly “Normal Operation Experience” when it come to GE dishwashers. Their other appliances work great! But yeah I’m buying a new dishwasher today and it won’t be a GE. FYI - it’s 3-4 years old.

                Piece of crap
We bought this appliance in 2020. It is a total piece of crap! Shortly after we got it, it started making this beeping sound like the door was opening, it would do this day and night. Finally it quit working. Got on, YouTube learned how to reset it, and it worked for about a month, and then died completely. I was at my brothers house in Minnesota this summer, heard the same sound, and a feeling of dread came over me. Shortly after I got home, my sister-in-law called and said hers died also. I will never buy another GE appliance again, totally disgusted!

                  Disappointingly short life span
I loved this dishwasher until today. I've had the dishwasher just under 4 years and now nothing works. I've double checked the outlet and breaker, so it is not power on my end. While waiting forever to speak with someone at GE appliances, I started reading reviews. Looks like I'm a victim of the faulty circuit board that so many speak of in their reviews. Average lifespan appears to be 3-4 years, not what I was hoping to read. Debating if I'm going to spend the money to have someone look at it or just suck it up and buy a new dishwasher. From the reviews, it costs about the same. Still looks awesome and brand new but who cares about looks when it won't even power on.

We love this dishwasher so much that we are looking for the same model to put in our new house. Dishes come out so clean and it's so quiet.

Doesn't last as long as other brands
Only lasted 4.5 years before water pump or something stop water flow. :(

                          Don’t Buy This
Less than 5 years old; control panel malfunctioned: door spring snapped; was told it can’t be fixed; also told this model is no longer being made. Matches my other slate GE appliances but I’m wary to buy GE products again.
