- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up

- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H

AnswersThere is a sprayer head in the middle of the ceiling above it and I suppose it might also get some benefit from the middle shelf rotating spray bar. I typically keep very soiled items in the middle shelf or in the silverware section.

Installed 6797DB 11/17 nothing but issues. 1st cracked touch panel - extremely common (research it). 2nd quits in the middle of cycles randomly again common for this model. Bad control board. Is it covered under warranty? I thought these were high end?

Poor Dishwasher
This dishwasher is not a great product. We bought it after looking at the reviews, however, the control panel on this dishwasher is extremely flimsy and now I need to have it replaced for the third time in a row. These extra expenses are unacceptable and I feel like I should be compensated for this nonsense. Having to fix this dishwasher every few months is extremely frustrating and I would not recommend this product to anyone else. This is completely ridiculous and I wish to be compensated.

Great product
This is the second one I have bought since moving to the east coast. We have owned on LG appliances for the last 15 years. We have sold them with our homes and bought new with our new ones. This dishwasher is easy to use has features that I like and is easy to load, unload an operate.

Functioning and structure of the dishwasher
Bought this less than 2 years ago. The dishwasher stops in-between the cycle for no rhyme or reason and has to be restarted. Also a crack appeared in the control panel within one year of use I am very disappointed

Racks are falling apart from rust

Fantastic Appliance!
I've only owned this dishwasher for about 4 days, but after a few loads now, I can already say I love it! It is incredibly quiet and washes the dishes exquisitely. We own a variety of LG appliances; fridge, stove, washer, dryer and now this dishwasher and every single appliance is great. We will keep purchasing LG in the future!

Exceeds expectations
We have owned this dishwasher over a month ago and we really love it.
The highlights of this machine include the third tray on top, the folding shelves that can accommodate a lot of space for the dishes, the fact that the tray in the middle can be adjusted is excellent. The bottom tray is also very smooth and slides in and out very easily. It is also extremely quiet and cleans the dishes very well, in general we are extremely happy with our purchase.

Stopped working after 1 year
A little over a year of usage and the dishwasher will not turn on. Also six months of use the top panel cracked. For $700 dishwasher I expect to last longer than a year.

Performance and value. LG truly makes Life Good
Machine has been installed for about a month and we are very happy with its performance and features. Dishes come out clean every time.
We have an open kitchen plan so a quiet dishwasher was a must and we are very happy overall.
Adjustable racks along with fold down tines make it easy to fit just about anything inside.
Not sure how we ever lived without a 3rd upper rack for flatware and cutlery which has also worked well for lids of all sorts.
Great all around dishwasher.
Things that could be improved:
-Would be nice if the middle rack was easier to remove for large items.
-Would like a a sanitize cycle along with a heater that could be used as a plate warmer like our previous unit had.
-Wifi, smart features could use more functionality such as wake from sleep, energy usage etc.
LG is now officially my go to major appliance brand.

great clean needs more webbing on bottom rack
I have square Corelle dishes they tip on their side with the corner down when loaded. If there were a few more crossbars along the bottom rack, the rack would be much more functional. I really wish the bottom rack had more crossbars so cups, glasses and other dishware would fit better and not slip through. I am racking my brain to try to figure out an after-market fix. LG are you listening???

Rust!
Buyers beware. I purchased this dishwasher 2 years ago and after the first year the racks started to corrode and rust. I am confused on how this even happens in a dishwasher. It should withstand the elements of water without corrosion. Not worth the price I paid.
