    A:  There could be several reasons for this condition. Please don't assume the machine is Shot just because of this. Check your specific manual for a possible "Owner-Re-set" process. First, just make sure the vent hose and lint screen aren't clogged. If either is blocked, the internal temperature limit switch may stop it from producing heat. "Doubtful, but possible"... Here are some things to look at, in no particular order. Your Power Supply. Both "Legs" need to be "Live". Limit Switches, these control the heat. The Heating Element itself. Unfortunately, the limit switches and element are located inside the machine. If you are Handy, you might be able to repair this yourself? Use your Model and Serial numbers to order parts. HD may even carry these, but you will need a Part Number for your specific piece. These are the most common failure points on any electric dryer. Relatively cheep repairs. Worst Case, call a repair person. Have these items checked before you are sold a Whole New Control Panel. :-)

            A:  I have the same issue sometimes. Too big or bulky load. To get around the sensor issue, Select "Time Dry" You can set your own time, not the machines. With heavy loads, blankets/ comforters, you may still have to turn them once or twice.

                Samsung help with with dryer Again
                From day 1 sensor shuts clothes off wet and when you turn to Time dry to properly dry them it trips a CL9 code meaning 90% full of dryer lent when it's 99% no lent at all and burning the heater element out.

                    Loved it for almost 3 years
                    i can’t say i didn’t love this dryer until it broke unexpectedly. i bought it specifically for the steam function and used it almost daily. it was great! i started noticing the sensor dry wasn’t working like it should. then it started making a loud noise, seemed off balance throwing folded clothes off the top. i looked inside and noticed a large crack in the back of the drum. i bought an extended warranty from the store, but after researching i see it is a very common problem and can expect it to happen again.

                      Samsung Dryer Circuit Boards Burning
                      This model of dryer in black was purchased roughly three years ago, last night it began emitting a electrical burning smell, I shut it off and removed the power. Run song walk away from this appliance.

                        I’ve had this dryer for about 3 1/2 years. Every now and then you had to restart the dryer if you put a small comforter in to get it to dry. I don’t k ow how this happened.

                          we bought this dryer 2 years ago, it never dried the clothes on the first cycle, and now its not drying anything because it started a fire in my hoise. apparently using all the factory set screw placement was optional. due the the manufacturers failure to place all of the screws the lint was blowing freely into the bottom of the drum, unbeknownst to me. luckily we were home when the smoke started pouring out. i assume you, the samsung washing machine will be next to go and we will never purchase them again.

                            Not gonna buy any Samsung appliances
                            The dryer won’t stop tumbling Even though the power is off. The only way to stop it is to cut off the electricity. Plus, no heat is coming out when drying the clothes. Tried to troubleshoot with Samsung customer service but nothing worked. It has been not even 2 years since I bought this dryer. It broke down just a few months after the warranty expired. It is not worth it. The help Samsung offers after the purchase is so limited which made me really upset and desperate. I don’t even want to get it fixed because it is more expensive than buying a new dryer. Never buy a Samsung dryer!

                              I bought this dryer (electric) as part of a matching set. I specifically bought this dryer - rather than the cheaper model because it had the matching glass door. It's a handsome set and based on size, it's good enough for a couple to dry their clothes if you're washing just once a week. The dryer has a steam function so you'll want to buy a y-splitter so you can send cold water to both the washer and dryer. Hopefully you have adequate electrical wiring because this dryer is power hungry and will trip fuses when it feels like it. Sometimes it will not complete its cycle and will just stop when it feels like it. Many times, I'll start a cycle and it will end abruptly. It will play music as if it finished and just turn off. This is something I've never experienced with a gas model of any other dryer.

                                  Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this dryer from anyone! I purchased this unit and the matching washing machine in March. It delivered in late March and was hooked up by Home Depot. By the first week of May I had my first service call. Here it is July and I am 3 service calls in and the unit still does not work. Samsung has not been of any assistance, they contract their work out and the service has been nothing short of terrible. The communication between Samsung and their contractor is a disgrace. I have been without a dryer for more than a month out of the 4 months I’ve had it and it looks like nothing is going to change anytime soon. I have never been more disgusted with a purchase.
