Product Details

The Superior Pump 1/3 HP submersible sump pump will move up to 46 Gal. of water per minute. This pump features rugged cast iron construction and includes an adjustable vertical float switch with piggy back plug to automatically turn the pump on/off. The 92341 offers a powerful, yet energy efficient (4.1 Amp) thermally protected motor for longer life and durability. The pump features a stainless steel impeller, 1-1/2 in. FIP discharge and 10 ft., replaceable, water proof power cord. This sump pump has side inlets for increased water flow, will handle 3/8 in. solids and is equipped with a suction screen on the bottom. UL/CUL listed and CSA certified and backed by a 3 year warranty.

      A:  Depends on how far you need to reach an outlet. Always better to go bigger and use a 12 gauge with a motor.

            works well
            I had to buy an adapter to fit into the pump, mine is very old and I had to buy a check valve as well. The lengths of the cords do not match each other, so you will have slack on the power cord of about 10". The crock was very dry, and no rain so with three 5 gallon buckets we plugged it in and turned it on. Water rushed out fast and it shut off in about 15 seconds and check valve worked wonders. Vacuuming out the crock and putting in the valve was little over an hour. I hope this lasts. 4 stars.

            The pump seems to be of good quality. My intention is to use it to replace a different brand that has a battery backup. There is a float control with the battery system so the redundant controls may be a problem... we shall see.

            Very fine pump. Positive On at 7" water height...
            Very fine pump. Positive On at 7" water height and Off 2.5 inches - very quiet. Previously ordered a nice looking K2 pump online. After more than a week K2 arrived only to have a defective float switch - their poor customer service caused me to order a Superior pump. Best move I could have made.
