Dishwasher interior showing TotalCoverage spray arm shooting water jets.

TotalCoverage spray arm

Cleans with twice the jets (Compared to WHIRLPOOL dishwasher without TotalCoverage spray arm) for more coverage while a smarter sequence of spray patterns from multiple nozzles hits your dishes with increased water pressure.

Man's hand placing dirty casserole dish in lower rack.

Sensor cycle

Automatically selects the right wash and dry settings for your load by using two separate sensors to measure temperature, soil level and load size.

Dishwasher interior showing white plates being sprayed with water.

1-Hour Wash cycle

Cleans dishes in half the time (Compared to Normal cycle with lightly soiled load) so your plates, pans and glasses are thoroughly cleaned up in just an hour.

  • Tap touch controls clean as easily as you use them
  • Quiet 47 dBA operation allows you to run the dishwasher without disrupting your home
  • Generously sized interior provides the space and loading flexibility necessary to accommodate 15 place settings

Falling Apart
I've been using this dishwasher for 4 years. Since then, the small plastic pieces have been breaking off, and more recently the top rack disconnected from one of the track wheels. Now I have to get it fixed before it completely falls down. I purchased all Whirlpool appliances when I renovated my kitchen, and I can honestly say in my next home, I will NOT be buying Whirlpool.

    Not built to last
Within the first year of ownership, the abundance of fidgety plastic parts throughout the interior shelf/rack systems have fallen apart -- now causing the rack to easily fall off its hinges when loading/unloading the unit. This seems to be what manufacturers expect us to endure when buying modern appliances today.
      Very Satisfied
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this in our new house for about 6 months. It is super quiet and cleans really well.

        Poor quality parts
A plastic part breaks off the dish rack about once a month and I find myself using zip ties to keep the thing together. Really, really poor quality parts...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much quieter than old one, little trouble with install, mostly due to cab configuration. Takes a long time to run through cycle

              Cool Dishwasher Cheaply Made
I love everything about this dishwasher EXCEPT the cheap grade plastic they used to make it. Within 9 months , 3 separate peices have all broken. And to order new ones costs $20 in shipping each time plus the outlandish prices of the items themselves. So I called Whirlpool and have been on hold for about an hour trying to get the latest casualty remedied (currently the top rack is falling off because it was stupidly held in place by a tiny plastic peice thats about 1/8 of an inch thick”

                Very quiet dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dishwasher was extremely loud, my new Whirlpool dishwasher is so quiet, I had to get use to the fact that is was indeed on and working!

                  My new but dented dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We looked at many dishwashers and decided this model would do the job. We were excited when our local appliance store delivered and installed it. We were disappointed that it was shipped from the factory with a damaged front panel (see photos). That does not affect its performance and we are happy with the job it does cleaning our dishes, silverware, etc. We are waiting on the replacement panel to arrive and be installed. It is just a cosmetic problem but disappointing considering the considerable cost of the dishwasher. The good rating would have been an excellent rating if not for the damaged door panel. We are hopeful that the quality control will improve going forward.
