A: You can use this over existing ply wood if only the substrate, it’s not rotted and used only to strengthen the existing floor. You need to glue and nail or screw down this half-inch over the existing floor

A: That is what I used it for.

A: Continuation of the original statement, once the substrate is nailed and glued down, paint the surface to seal it, but also make sure that there’s no Lowe’s or highs in the floor, then you’ll have to yes floor leveler To even it out and again once that is done, you can put your moisture barrier over that. But if the floor already has a rubber backing or caulk backing, you don’t need a moisture barrier first

A: Tomm, Rated Sheathing is classified as Exposure 1, which means it can be exposed to the elements for a while, but not permanently. We do not recommend using it for exterior applications.

A: I am using mine for an exterior project, BUT, I've sealed it thoroughly with 3 coats of Rust-Oleum (rusty metal primer, clean metal primer, blue enamel top coat). This stuff is not pressure-treated, so not sure it is the best choice for exterior projects, unless you intend to treat it properly.
