A: None of my cats have headlights. You must have an unusual breed of cat!

Answer This Question
A: Yes. Works great but you may put two layers on top of each other to achieve thickness and let the lens bite into it. Did a set of headlights a month ago and no issues whatsoever even in torrential downpours - not a hint of moisture.

Q:Can this product be used to patch/plug a nail hole in a metal roof? Or does it need to stick two pieces of metal together? I was just going to cut little squares off the roll and stick them over the nail holes.

Answer This Question
A: I would use a lap seal for it. Though I have put this in the holes and then a lap seal over it and it worked just fine still has no leak

A: I would think not, this was meant to be used between two flat pieces of metal, usually the screws have a gasket already attacked. I might work between the bracket and the roof.

A: It is double sided and sticky, not sure what you're tying together. It works great as moisture seal for metal roofing. It's only 1/2 inch wide, advertised as working on pipe and glass as well as metal.

A: It's only sticky on one side. Have you thought of a spray adhesive?
by|Feb 8, 2022
A: No. This is an adhesive sealant in flat roll form about 1/2" wide. It will fill small gaps and stick to both top and bottom surfaces yielding a water tight seal. It will remain flexable for many years.

A: It is double sided. I doubt this would be a good solution for a vapor barrier to block.

A: I hope my emailed answer gets posted. It is double sided. Meech must not have seen that you just pull off the top strip.

A: Yes, as long as it's not terribly dirty . I used my seal Between the concrete floors and the metal walls in my warehouse. Worked very well.

A: Yes it will stick to plastic and coated metal, and very well I might say. Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Use a little rubbing alcohol to make sure the surface is free of any oils and dust.
