Q:I have a gas pipe coming in on the right about 5". I think it would be a more symmetrical placement to have the control box on the left. Is it possible to move the control box from the right to the left side?

A:  There is no problem placing the valve on the left side.. It is recommended that you have a certified person make the changes etc. Keep in mind that the directions on the knob will be upside down and that you will need a longer connection to run the gas line.

    A:  You should be able to simply take off the cap. There will be a fitting already provided in the burner box that you can install. It is recommended to use pipe dope to ensure a proper seal
