A:  Yes.

A:  I haven't cut laminate floor yet but I had reused some very dry and hard wood from 1970 to make braces for wall studs and it easily cut through ALONG the grain.

    Answer This Question

A:  Yes, but they dull rather quickly. Watch your cuts and when they start to become a little ragged change blades.

    A:  Yes, easily.

A:  Great Question lfarr. Yes, these will cut TimberTech composites. I suggest you make slow easy cuts to avoid scorching. Hope this helps. Andy

    by|May 4, 2023

A:  I have used the these blades on composite decking and they cut quick and easy, and are long lasting.

    by|May 4, 2023

A:  No doubt they would, but ... this is a very fine-toothed blade for sawing pressure-treated decking lumber. Myself, I'd use a combination blade with fewer teeth.

Q:How many tooth blade is best for cutting 1/8 birch playwood Without damaging the edges

    Answer This Question

A:  Great Question sergio. 200 count is the best. Hope this helps. Andy

    by|May 4, 2023

A:  If you can't find a 200 tooth blade, you can get reduced tear out by using a 60-80 tooth blade and make a shallow scoring cut first, then the final cut. You can also cut the piece a little larger and use a flush cut router to get a final clean edge.

    by|May 4, 2023

A:  A sharp 60 tooth blade using a fairly slow feed will work fine.

      by|Dec 8, 2016

A:  For the best results cutting 1/8" plywood chip free use a 60 tooth or higher blade.

      by|May 4, 2023

A:  I have not used this blade on 1/8 birch plywood (yet) but I have used it for sawing miters on picture-frame molding. Anyone who's ever built picture frames knows you must have a silk-smooth miter cut and the tiniest splinter on the face or outer edges ruins it. I have used these on African Mahogany and Basswood and am astonished to see I get no splintering on any edge.

A:  Great Question Samantha. Absolutely. Hope this helps. Andy

      by|May 4, 2023

A:  These will work on most table saws that use 10" blades and in fact is what we use on ours that sees service every day. The two pack is the best value since you essentially get two for the price of one.

      by|May 4, 2023

A:  It would work great but it depends on what kind of work your father likes to do. This is perfect for cutting moldings and doing cabinet work using a table saw. This is good for a skill saw too because it would last a long time before getting dull.

      by|May 4, 2023

A:  If your father's table saw supports a 10" blade, this should work. Most table saws these days can take nearly any blade made by most manufacturers. This saw blade is from a general manufacturer and should fit nearly any table saw that supports a 10" blade. Considering Skil only makes 10" blade table saws, this should fit. But I would try to find out the model of his saw and look it up before you purchase any blade.

      by|May 3, 2023

A:  They should work fine as long as it has enough clearance for a 10 inch blade and has a 5/8 arbor(the shaft that holds the blade).
