A:  Hi Susie, thanks for the question. Our Dynasty Paint can be used around a fireplace as long as the surface temperature doesn't get above 140 degrees. Temperatures higher than that may cause the paint to fail prematurely. Also, if the tile is glossy, you would need to prime it first with our Bonding Primer to ensure the adhesion of the paint.
