A: The paint usually comes off the back of our toilet seat first but eventually on the front also. After about 4-5 years, our toilet seat has usually lost enough paint that we replace it.

Q:I too had trouble at first with this not locking in place. As it turns out the mfg. advice about turning the knobs to the right to lock it is only effective if you've first made sure the hinges are absolutely flush with the surface of the toilet - at first I was turning the hinge locks to the right but without having them all the way down in place. Once properly positioned, turning to the right was possible, although not as effortless as the video made it look.

A: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to learn that you have experienced troubles while installing the seat. In order for bolts to lock inside the hinges the seat needs to be flush with porcelain. Please contact our customer service at 1-888-722-6488 if you have any additional inquiries.

A: Andrew, thank you for your interest in our products. To identify the correct seat size for your toilet bowl, measure from the center of the mounting holes at the back of the bowl to the outside edge of the rim in front. Based on your measurement, order the appropriate seat – round or elongated – for your bowl. Our seats are designed to fit most manufacturers’ round or elongated bowls, even though there are some specialty sizes. Kindest regards, Bemis Customer Service

A: Bone is darker
by|Mar 8, 2021
A: Lisa, Bone is a very popular alternative for white in bathrooms. It is a step darker than biscuit and reminds you of a classic pair of neutral pumps. Its rich color gives nice depth to your bathroom fixtures. Almond. Its color is as wonderful as its flavor. Opposite of the rich brown exterior, the inside of an almond is a beautiful off-white. With a touch of brown, the neutral color is perfect and a very popular color in the bathroom. Kindest Regards, Bemis Customer Service

Q:Would the mounting system for this seat allow the installation of a bidet attachment in between the toilet bowl and the seat?

Answer This Question
A: No idea! Otherwise a pretty easy install. If it helps, the gap between the seat and the porcelain is approximately 1.5 inches.
by|Jul 11, 2020
A: The bolts for this model are 2" long. it depends on thickness of the bidet attachment and porcelain if it would be long enough. Please be aware that attachment is raising the seat in hinge area and may add additional pressure on the seat. We recommend plastic seats for Bidet attachments they are more flexible.
