A:  We recommend our Bona PowerPlus Hardwood Floor Deep Cleaner on your sealed or finished, and unwaxed or unoiled floor for oil spills. Its oxygenated formula is designed to remove heavy dirt build-up and soils off of floors. The residue-free, ready-to-use formula provides deep cleaning results without getting on your hands and knees. For optimal results, use with the Bona PowerPlus Microfiber Deep Cleaning Pad. Because it may take multiple applications of the PowerPlus Deep Cleaner to remove oil from the floor, we recommend completely removing from a test area before tackling the next section of floor. Work in sections across the floor to completely remove oil from each section before moving to the next. Rinse and wring the Bona Microfiber Pad often to ensure the oil that is being removed from floor does not get transferred back to floor during the cleaning process. The Refresher may also be used to fill in minor scratches and to even out the sheen of a floor. Refresher is recoatable with polyurethane finishes. Bona Professional Series Hardwood Floor Refresher is safe for your finished, and unwaxed or unoiled hardwood floor. DO NOT SHAKE THE BOTTLE · It is very important to measure your floor before applying the Refresher. Length x width to get the square footage. · Do a small TEST AREA first before applying the Refresher to your entire floor - wait 24 hours for final results in test area. o One bottle of the 32oz. Refresher only covers 500 sq. ft. · Dampen the microfiber cleaning pad with Refresher prior to first spread to help give it an initial glide on the floor. Start in a small manageable area and liberally/heavy pour of the Refresher from the bottle directly onto the floor in an "S" or "W" shaped pattern onto the floor. · Lightly spread the refresher going with the grain using a Bona Microfiber Cleaning Pad on the bottom of your Bona Mop… only fingertip pressure on the mop is needed. You will want to keep the pad damp with Refresher to help reduce streaking. · After applying the Refresher wash out your Microfiber Pad immediately to remove Refresher residue. · After 1 to 2 hours, depending on humidity, you may walk on the floor in your stocking feet. · Cure time is 24 hours. After this time, replace furniture, allow heavy traffic and pets.
