A:  I don't know if they are the same material as the Pergo, however I have the Pergo Auburn Scraped Oak Laminate Flooring and these matched perfectly. They have been on my steps for 2 years and still look brand new. My contractor had gotten nail glue on them while doing another project and I had to scrub them vigorously with different cleaning products to get it off. The cap-a-treads were not damaged at all.

A:  Yes, the color blends very well. However, you will need to have a tee transition strip where the top step transitions to the flooring.

A:  No, this will not fit 1-1/8" nose.

A:  Yes, this can be used for your top landing step.

A:  I used these cap a treads for all my standard steps with a 1" nosing and they fit perfectly (just had to cut down length and depth). As long as the length and depth of the landing step is not larger they can be cut to fit. They matched my Pergo Auburn Scraped Oak laminate flooring very well by the way.

A:  you can create your own return w/ the cut offs.. (I would mask with masking tape so the cut its smooth without chipping surface. cut to length.. but stop the cut before the curved section then cut @45� and do same w/scrap cut off and mate flush w/glue
