A:  We do apologize, for battery backup systems, a battery backup equipped opener would need to be purchased. A battery cannot be added to a unit without a battery backup system.

A:  For Wi-Fi signal, your myQ Wi-Fi product must be within 50 feet of your router. If the Wi-Fi signal in the garage is weak, it is recommended to try moving the router closer to your garage to minimize interference from walls and other objects.

A:  All residential garage door openers manufactured for use in the United States and Canada are rated for 120V AC, 60Hz line power. You can find the voltage, hertz, and amps for your garage door opener on the label that includes the model number.

A:  The backup battery for this opener would be model 4228. For the wall control panel, no battery is needed as it is wired to the opener. For the keyless entry, the replacement battery would be a 9V Lithium battery.
