A:  Hi Lisa. Interesting question but I caution that this fixture is very bright and the 9000 lumen output may be too much for a front porch. It is really designed for warehouse like environment where it is mounted 9 feet or higher. It also is not the most attractive light fixture, very industrial looking. Not what I think of for a front porch where your guests will be greeted. But that said I don't know what your porch is like, maybe the industrial look is what your are going for. On the positive side, this is an amazing fixture. I've included a short video that may help with understanding where fixtures like this fit best. Hope this helps.
