Well built, low profile, and bright [you'll need to put sunscreen on]

The industrial LED low bay light is an excellent addition to your garage or shop. Talk about putting out some bright light, this thing will beat the socks off anything else you currently have. I was amazed at the difference between this LED fixture and the standard T12 fluorescent lights I have in the garage. I wish I had these all over my 2 1/2 car garage. The quality is excellent, much better than the other LEDs I have. I guess thats why it is an industrial fixture. This light has to be hard-wired in your light circuits as there is no cord or plug. Its definitely worth the trouble. You will be pleased with the results.

This Review is for a Commercial Electric LED Light, we have owned this light for (1) day. It was packaged very well, and the inside contents was safe. As always with each of my reviews are based on true facts about this product, and any issues of any kind will be mentioned, positive and negative, which I believe is important to anyone who might have an interest in this product. My husband needed more light in a work-area of his garage. This Commercial Electric 4 ft. Industrial Led low bay light was perfect for what he needed. It replaced a 2 lamp fluorescent 4 ft. fixture. It puts out 9,000 Lumens of Light, it has actual color temperature of 5,000 (k) The color rendering index is 80, it is designed to be hardwired but my husband put on an electrical cord and plugged it into an wall outlet. It is dimmable from 0 to 10 volts with the proper dimming switch and wiring. It can operate from a minus 40 degree F to 122 degree F. It is maintenance free because it has integrated Led that have a lifetime up to 50,000 hours, pretty good must say so myself. For best light distribution MFG. recommends a hanging height from 9 to 20 ft. It uses only 78 watts of energy voltage required is 120-277 volts. This light fixture is ideal for garages, workshops, sheds, barns, retail stores, grocery stores, frozen storage, warehouse, and loading docks. It comes with all necessary hardware including chains, and 2 S Hooks for your easy installation. This product only weighs 8.82 lb which is considerably less then the old style fluorescent fixtures. And out performs them not only with light output but also with energy savings and no maintenance cost, and that is fantastic. Product Height is 3.43 in. Product Width is 4.92 in. Product Length is 48.58. It is returnable in 90 Days and has a 5 Year Mfg. Warranty The reason we recommend this product is because of the ease of installation, there is no main- tenance required, the 9,000 Lumens of Light Output, and the 78 Watts of Energy Use. Also because other than wiring and hanging the chain, there is no other assembly required. It appears to be very well made and also very durable to last many years.

I got this light for my work shop I rebuild small engines and work on dirt bikes and this light fixture is the best one I've seen. It throws off an even white light very bright which is what I was looking for in a light fixture. this unit is hardwired to a switch at my entry door the other one was a pull cord and not very convenient at night. I should get many years of use out of this LED light fixture.

I set this light over my radial arm saw, and immediately saw a huge difference. I used to only work during daylight hours. Now I can work anytime. It was also extremely easy to wire a cord to this light, as there were great access panels for that. You can have the cord attach at either end. I set it up as a plug-in unit, but could have just as easily hard mounted it and wired it directly to a junction box.

This it's a very nice super bright LED light. I have this for my garage and it absolutely lights it up very bright and clear. Very simple to install comes with everything you need including the chain to hang it. You can buy multiple of these and run them together for more lighting. Good thing is once you hang these LEDs you're probably good from 20 or 30 years. Perfect for your garage your shed your shop wherever you need a nice long lasting light that's bright.

This overhead light fixture is very bright. It does not come with an electrical cord; you must provide your own. The instructions for assembly are clear and concise. The wires are pre-pulled through the fixture housing, so you don’t have to disassemble the housing to make the electrical connections. Hanging loops and chain are included. I recommend this product.

These. 162 watt equivalent shop lights use LEDs to provide a bright light, and commercial grade enclosure. These are not at all like the cheap plastic lights you can find online, these have a nice metal enclosure. We mounted ours using the supplied chain, but rather than using a plug we had an electrician hard wire it. The lights is bright (9000) and in an even pattern without any dark spots.

Summary: brilliant light, easy to wire, great long-term investment. In Lord of the Rings, the Orc leader said "The days of men have passed. The time of the Orc has come." Well, the days of fluorescent bulbs have also passed, and the time of the LED has come. Other than the higher initial investment, I haven't found any negative for a light fixture that puts out more light for way less energy over a much longer lifespan, plus is often also fully dimmable. This has no light cover/diffuser to mess with or make it dimmer or worry about falling off if it gets bumped. Bring in your power through an NM clamp or grommet (not included), wire the same-color wires together, reinstall the wiring cover, and you've got a brilliant light that will make your space shine (I wired mine to a cord I plug into a switched plug on the wall). Yes pricier, but absolutely brilliant, and next year I won't be up on a ladder replacing more fluorescent bulbs. In a few years this will have paid for itself in bulbs-not-replaced—not to mention my time.

This integrated LED shop light has all the features we wanted- Very bright at 9000 Lumens, very bright white for shop work in the basement, good efficiency at 115 lumens/watt, easy installation and potential to add a dimmer. We ran a standard 120VAC line to this unit, but it will support 220V as well. We don't need the dimmer yet, but may as we add more of these to this room. It uses a 0-10V dimmer, which are a bit pricey, but it will allow us to dim multiple of these with a single dimmer. The unit has a lot of knockouts and two separate, removable access panels. No need to disassemble anything to wire the unit. The only way to hook this up is suspension. Chains are supplied and connect securely to the unit without any fasteners. Wire nuts and screws to connect the chain to the ceiling are supplied as well. The installation took less than 30 minutes including running the wire. This single unit turned our basement furnace room from a cave to a work room. The light dispersed pretty well even though we mounted it much lower than the recommended 9 foot minimum. This unit may cost a bit more than some others, but considering the rich feature set, it's definitely a good value. We're very pleased with this unit.

I had a smaller lumen light fixture over my workshop tools and had to adjust constantly. Now with this Commercial Electric LED fixture light is no longer an issue. You can see by the photos that the entire area of four power tools are now flooded in light. If you have a smaller area the fixture can be dimmed to less lumens. Instructions for wiring are included and simple to follow.

I got this light to replace an old florescent shop light in my shed. The light itself seems to be built fairly solid, and came with almost everything needed for installation. One thing it didn't come with was a grommet to seal off the hole you use to wire it. I didn't plan to use conduit because I was wiring it with a plug, so I had to get something to plug the hole with. Installation was straight forward and easy. The light output is very good, and made a HUGE difference over the old light. Being it's LED it should work in the winter weather as well.

I got this 4 foot light for a darkened end section of basement with no windows as it is as dark as can be down their. It is 4 feet long boasting 9000 lumens at 5000 K [ day light ] with a CRI of 80 it uses only 85 watts. This will run off of 120 - 277 volts and is 0 -10 volts dimmable. Row mounting, surface or suspension are options with this fixture and as far as industrial LED lights go it can with stand harsh temperatures from - 40 - 122 Deg F. with a expected life span of 50,000 hours. The fixture is 46 inches long x 5 inches wide x 3.5 inches tall, is made of metal and has a optimum mounting height of 9 to 15 feet. It does not have a lens it has 2 led strips mounted in side by side V channels. Their are instructions with it as well as mounting hardware being chains. It looks great and is vary bright.

New King of the Shop. Amazing output, but a bit directional and still pricey. For the last year or so I’ve been experimenting with a variety of LED shop lights (see video below). Slowly replacing my T12/T8 fluorescents. This Commercial Electric light seems to be intended for industrial applications like an auto repair bay or high bay workshop. Still I thought I try it in my garage shop. My ceilings are 9 ft, which is the recommended close limit (9-15 ft recommended). Installation was relatively straight forward. I added a cord to the light since my shop ceiling is set up for them. When I fired it up the output did not disappoint. A quick check with the light meter and it is the highest output fixture in my shop. Even higher than a rated 10,000 lumen fixture I have. The beam throw is more straight down than the other LEDs I have, meaning less diffusion. The color is 5000K which is a bit higher than I prefer (4000K seems optimal) but really no complaints. The body is well built of heavier sheet metal than most. The paint is also thicker and seems higher quality than the cheaper units. It’s even rated for wet exposure. The price of LED fixtures keeps coming down and this one is at the top end ($90 at the time of this review). In a commercial setting it's definitely worth it. A garage shop might give some pause. However for an area that you need a lot of light it is the ticket. About my rating: 5 stars – Exceeds all expectations. Better than the competition in all aspects, design, cost, operation, and support (A+). 4 stars – Nicely done. Better than the competition and solves the problem. (B) 3 stars – Works as expected. Has some shortcomings but gets the job done. Might be short in design, cost, longevity, or support. (C). 2 stars – Falls short of expectations and needs improvement. Pass and look elsewhere. (D) 1 star – Fails miserably. Does not get the job done, might even make things worse. Someone at the company should be fired. (F)

This 4 foot light is a good light at a good price. I am using in my basement in place of old lamp holders. My ceiling height is low around 7 foot, and these work perfect. The light it provides is adequate to light our laundry and adjacent work table and illuminates both very good. I glad it's not glaring or blinding like some leds. Installation was simple with wire access at the middle or end of the fixture. Our older house had loose wiring that My husband installed in metal conduit but once that was done it was a 5 minute connection and hung with eye hooks that we had to buy, and chain that was included

I do a lot of detail work in my shop and needed a light that could properly illuminate my workbench without shadows. Although this product is actually intended to be a low bay overhead light, it is working out wonderfully in this alternate application. The light is very bright and has eliminated the shadowing effect I experienced from previous shoplights. Construction is quite heavy-duty and the design is simple, functional, and attractive. Two lengths of hanging chain, approximately 31" in length with hooks, are provided. Alternatively, the fixture can be mounted directly to an overhead surface. Be aware that this is not a corded fixture (and no installation instructions are included) so some wiring experience is needed for the install. Another FYI, the color of this fixture is very white, so if you're looking for a warm white light this is not the right choice. On the plus side, the fixture is dimmable. I'm very pleased with this light and expect many years of use. Highly recommended!

I installed the Commercial Electric 4 foot white LED 9000 Lumen industrial low bay light in my utility room downstairs where it can get damp from the sea air. The light is very bright at 9000 Lumens and only uses 85 watts of energy. The light is dimmable and additional fixtures can be attached. The light is to be hardwired and enclosed in a conduit but I added a plug for convenience so if I wanted I could place it in another location later. It is easy install using the included chains with S hooks that hang it from the ceiling, so the height and location is adjustable. The wiring is easy, as you just connect black wires to black and white to white and instructions are clear and included. The light is easy to install and maintenance free with no bulbs to replace.

Very nice LED light fixture, very bright but also dimmable. Everything is included for hanging this fixture, chains, S-hooks and wire nuts and easy to follow instructions. There are two removable cover plates on the top and 1/2" knockouts at each end to allow for hard wiring. I like that it is 5000K Daylight color temperature as it gives the most light available. The fixture is about 8.2 pounds so it is a little heavier than most 4 ft. light fixtures but extremely well constructed. The way this fixture is designed, you can daisy-chain up to 4 fixtures from a single power source. The fixture has integral LED elements and is warrantied for 5 years.

Overall a good product, easy to install. I thought with it being LED there would be a setting to where I could soften the harsh white light but there isn't. It really has to be hung up high to work the best. I hung mine in my 8 ft garage ceiling and it's too bright and doesn't spread the light very well, the light is too focused downward and there are still too many dark corners in the garage. I have other lights on the same switch so I don't want to install a dimmer.

Working good. A lot brighter than the old florescent bulbs. I like how the light fixture surrounds the bulb so it doesn't blind you.c
