A:  I used the existing cut out. If you go to the store, ask if you can take a measurement on one or two of the display ones.  I did have to cut about about 1/8-3/6 more countertop to accommodate the new range top.

A:  I have found that, even with cookware considered high end, you need to use ceramic cooktop cleaners for this model. I broke the glass doing a microwave changeout. I replaced it with a Frigidaire one from a competitor with plastic knobs and it needs a lot less cleaning. I live on Oahu and the metal knobs developed rust spots within a year.
