We used it on limestone tile on the floor using both a rougher scrubbing pad and a small plastic-bristle scrub brush. In both cases, the surfaces were unharmed.

A:  I am currently using it on a glass tile backsplash to remove epoxy grout film. It is very difficult, but I am seeing a little progress. I am using a Weiman cook top non-scratch scrubbing pad, NanoScrub, and lots ef elbow grease! It is not harming the surface on the tile. If I can’t get it done by hand, I will try an electric polisher and the same product.

A:  I just tried it on a small spot on our polished quartz countertop. I did not rub very hard. I did not see any dulling in the surface shine, but I think milder things work just as well. Our quartz counter tops are very easy to clean — I usually wipe off with a disinfectant wipe, wipe off with a wet towel to “rinse” and then dry off with a dry towel. If there is dried food, I use a soft scrubbing pad first. If there is anything greasy, I start with a sponge and Dawn.

A:  I don’t know. This product seems to have a microscopic abrasive that is very effective, but the rest of the additives are interesting. I’d experiment with a sample.
