A:  I would use some type of self-leveling underlayment for this. Talk to your Home Depot associate.

A:  No. This stuff is very brittle and sensitive to water. Too much weight or a spill would cause issues. Try a floor leveler.

A better alternative would be our ALEX FLEX Spackling. This product is designed to be applied in areas where minor joint movement may occur and/or where other traditional hard setting spackling compounds have cracked. A:  No, it won’t hold a screw with much weight on it. One trick you can use is to hammer in either a dow or a plastic wall anchor into the worn hole and cut it off flush, then put your screw in.

If the product has thickened, it can be restored to its original consistency by adding a few drops of warm water and mixing/blending it in thoroughly. Please note, this condition can also occur if the product has thickened due to exceeding its shelf life. A:  If you put the top on tight and store it in a climate control area, it will never dry out. I have a five year old tub, of this stuff, I used today and it's still good.

A:  In the future, take some cling wrap or something similar and place it over the tub. Then put the top on it. This should help keep the material from drying out.
