A: The flow rate on this compressor is 2.6 CFM @ 90 psi. The DeWALT DW45RN framing nailer requires 3.7 CFM @ 80 psi.

A: Yes I believe so. I’m not sure exactly what u mean by framing. Perhaps framing out a house in which case I would still say yes. We used ours for installing trim and crown molding and I built a table with it.

A: I use it with my framing nailer all the time! Pressure is good and constant however I do stop work when it is running just a minute for it to recover. Haven't had any issues in the two years I have had it in service on my jobsite!

A: Yep as long as you just run 1 gun might run a little more then a 10 gal but enough pressure for roofing nail gun
by|Mar 29, 2019
A: I am sure it would work fine if your not in a big hurry trying to nail to fast would lower the pressure and you would have to wait a wile for pressure to build back up
by|Apr 1, 2019
A: I think the compressor is about 2.5-2.6 SCFM. Some of those high speed nailers say 4.6 SCFM or something like that to fully use the nailers capabilities and the compressor will NOT handle one of those.
I'm a slow speed nailer and with a single nail gun connected to one of the two ports works fine for my needs.

A: The compressor is fine for this work the rubber hose is too short for only close work you need a 75 to 100 foot hose keep the compressor on the ground

A: Can you be more specific with the question
by|Sep 16, 2019
A: Hello I guess you are asking if it is a 1/2 horsepower unit. The Portable Compressor unit is described in Tank Gallons and air SCFM @ 90 etc. ( it's what the pneumatic nailer you would be using would be looking for to operate correctly) and the Maximum pressure as are all this style. This is the unit I bought because of its light weight and low noise. 41 pounds 165 max pressure and 6 gallon tank. If you were to buy a home large compressor they have HP ranges but are not portable.

Q:Guage needles bounce around when tank is filling, is this supposed to happen?

Answer This Question
A: Yup its ranging until filled
by|Jan 27, 2019
A: Some needle bouncing as compressor is filling is normal, I believe. As long as they are stable when the compressor stops running, it should be fine. I have seen this on almost every compressor I have used. If they are are bouncing so much that you can't really tell if compressor is functioning properly, then there is a problem.

Q:can the compressor work with a roofing nail gun?
by|Jan 22, 2019

Answer This Question
A: The compressor and hose will work with a roofing nailer but the question is how many nails do you want to drive a minute. If I was a roofer I would not buy this unit. I would get a bigger compressor or a battery powered gun with lots of batteries. But if I was roofing my own house it may be ok.
by|Jan 22, 2019
A: Yes.
by|May 14, 2019
A: Yes, it has the capacity to run heavier roofing guns as well as lighter flooring guns.
by|Feb 12, 2019
A: Yup no problem
by|Jan 27, 2019
A: Most pneumatic tools require between 70-120 psi. The DWFP55126 has a max psi of 165. Please check with nail gun manufacture for compressor specifications.
