A:  I found the underneath front support to be less than ideal. Not exactly sure what Delta found so intriguing about that arrangement. Unfortunately, at this stage of installation, it is what it is. I ran a strip of the tape used instead of tub caulking along the front bottom face of the tub to lend some addition support to the front. Hardly perfect but does seem to provide some extra stiffness to the front as the front is now attached to the floor by the tape. I'll also assume your installer applied a mud base to the bottom of the tub, regardless of what the instructions said. My installer, along with a different installer on a separate job, said no tub should be installed without a mud base. Anyway, that's my take on how I dealt with my install. Good luck!

A:  I used the "Jones and Stephens - Lift and Turn Schedule 40 PVC 2-Hole Bath Waste and Overflow Tub Drain Direct T-Waste Half Kit in Chrome Plated" You can find it here: https://www.homedepot.com/p/JONES-STEPHENS-Lift-and-Turn-Schedule-40-PVC-2-Hole-Bath-Waste-and-Overflow-Tub-Drain-Direct-T-Waste-Half-Kit-in-Chrome-Plated-B07101/314215033 You'll need some 1.5" PVC to put it all together.

A:  Greetings DKW, You should have no problem installing a shower door on this tub. It should be a "straight track" shower door system. I recommend when installing the track system do the following; test fit first, cut top and bottom rails as needed: a) set the bottom track with the weep holes/ports pointing into the tub. b) set the side/uprights in their proper position using a level, mark the mounting holes. Note: you will need to purchase screws long enough to anchor side rails to the walls securely. c) After test fit and drilling, caulk the back of the side rails with silicone caulk, and anchor. d) Install the top rail as recommended. Good Luck with your project.

A:  Most frameless doors mount to the wall not the tub. they have a silicone sweep that creates a seal when closed.

A:  not really, there is some texture to the bottom, but not enough that I would consider it "slip resistant" We have purchased a slip resistant matt for the bottom.

A:  It isnt slip resistant, i had to use a shower mat it is pretty slippery without a mat.

Please note that anti-slip mats left in tubs and pans can cause staining and damage the surface of the tub or pan. If a mat is used, it should be removed after each use. A:  This tub installs well when done right. If your plumber failed to follow the instructions then he is at fault and should pay for the removal and reinstalling the tub. Considering he immediately blamed the tub I’m guessing he is not reputable. First get another opinion of the leak and how to fix it. Then contact your original plumber and give him the chance to redeem himself.

A:  I had this tub in prior house. Liked it so much ripped out porcelain tub in new house and had this installed. Sure there can be a defect. My gut - plumber didn’t check the tub thoroughly or didn’t install properly. If there was a defect with the tub he should have noticed it and inspected tub thoroughly.
