A: Thank you to Tanya from DELTA. I had thought the supplier code was imprinted on underside of the escutcheon. Thanks to your answer I was able to see it imprinted behind the faucet and all I needed was a mirror to see it.
A: I didthe same thing. I used a small mirror to read the code.
A: Perhaps taking a phone picture and going to store and compare stock on display. Besides, if the choice only involves two possibilities.... Regardless, the repair will likely mandate removal from the sink. Not a difficult task. Be certain.
A: Hello Rq802a, Thank you for your question. We would be more than happy to assist you with any issues you are having with your Delta faucet. We would recommend using a small mirror to see the faucet code on the back side of the unit, if it is still installed. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social. A: Hello OkieGal, Thank you for your question. When installing the Delta Foundations Lavatory B510LF-PPU-ECO faucet you would place the gasket on bottom of new faucet. Assemble nuts to the studs. Place faucet through mounting holes in sink. Option: If sink is uneven, use silicone under the gasket. Best regards, Tanya
A: Sorry, the plastic base plate is part of the faucet and is required under the faucet to provide an adequate surface to form a reliable seal for the faucet between a sink mounting surface and the mounting base of the faucet. The manufacturer recommends applying a bead of clear silicone around the cut-out edges of a faucet mounting surface of a sink that the faucet is being installed in prior to mounting the faucet to the sink to provide a good seal on uneven or irregular surfaces. This is to prevent any water from being able to migrate from a sink surface under the plastic base of the faucet. It would not be possible to provide a reliable and aesthetically appealing seal if this faucet was installed without the plastic base plate because the edges of the faucet base are too thin to be able to apply silicone to form a reliable seal.
A: I don't have a plate under mine and it looks great and is fine.
A: Yes it works, keeps the water from running under the faucet into your cabinet.
A: Probably 1.5 GPM.
A: I would say that it probably wont even use one gallon per minute, however I have not tested out how many gallon's a minute it uses.
A: Thank you for your question, Bud! The flow rate for model B510LF-PPU-ECO is 1.2 GPM @ 60 PSI. -Benjamin
A: It uses 1.2 gallons per minute.
A: Don't see why not. Just remove the aerator and install the dishwasher adaptor. Check that the thread pitch is the same! If not, a good hardware store will have one.
A: I don't know what you need. If you are referring to one of those hoses that slip over the faucet spout, I would say definetly not. theonly way anything else could be added to the faucet would be if it had an outsiude tread and would fit insdie the spout wafter you removed the diffuser.
A: Thank you for your question, sunshine! A portable washer can be connected to the spout using the right adapter. The aerator has male 15/16"-27 threads. Best regards, Jon Phone: 1-800-345-3358 | Email: customerservice@deltafaucet.com | Facebook/Twitter: @deltafaucet
A: Yes, it can be installed anywhere a faucet is used
A: I don't know what you're talking about when it comes to the "PP" on the box BUT the faucet does have a pull rod behind it to open and close the sink so it can be filled with water and release the water.
A: Hello, pest! Thank you for your question. "PPU" indicates that the faucet comes with a Plastic Pop-Up assembly. The lift rod to operate the pop-up assembly is metal. Best regards, Jon Phone: 1-800-345-3358 | Email: customerservice@deltafaucet.com | Facebook/Twitter: @deltafaucet
A: If you look at the photo you can just make out the push/pull handle visible behind the spout & faucet handle. Sorry, I never looked at the box. so I have no idea what "PP" stands for. Hope that helps you out.
A: Yes, It does come with a pull rod. I don't know about the PP.
A: I don’t know what the pp in the box means but it does have a pull rod for draining.
A: When I remove the airator I use a pair channel locks and wrap them with a rag so it doesn’t scratch the airator..
A: Under no water pressure while gripping the aerator alone with a soft cotton cloth and long handled pliers, use a light pressure on the piece and turn to the hot side. (left or counter clockwise) It may be cross threaded in the spout. If light pressure and a careful twist does not free the aerator, remove the fixture from the sink base and return to store for an exchange. This piece when new, should thread with ease into spout end. Once in service, the aerator should be checked annually for sediment and debris and mineral deposits.
A: Mine doesn't turn by hand either. I looked to see if there was a special tool because it is supposed to be removable for cleaning. Mine's been installed for 2 years and hasn't needed cleaning to get grit out but if the need arises, I'll use a pair of pliers and gently turn to the left. To protect the chrome, I'll wrap it in tape so it doesn't get marked and scratched up.
A: I don’t have problems with the aerator but the water flow is very low. Even with the hot and cold going at the same time, the pressure is too low. I hope this helps.
A: I'm sorry for any inconvenience, James! Please try soaking it using a rag with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 1 hour, then rinse and wipe with a soft cloth. This will help dissolve mineral buildup that can cause parts to stick. You can also use a flat rubber jar opener to help grip the aerator. A: Try cross indexing the OEM part number, where ever you are going to shop. But, I don't think you are going to be able to buy it any cheaper at a local store. It is only 6.20 at Home Depot.
A: Thank you for your question, Jmatthews! The aerator has a male 15/16"-27 thread size. Best regards, Jon Phone: 1-800-345-3358 | Email: customerservice@deltafaucet.com | Facebook/Twitter: @deltafaucet
A: Take the aerator to the store. They all have a thread pitch guage and can get you the right one. Don't forget a new washer.
A: Thank you for your question, Bobby! The lift rod, part number RP42847, can be ordered separately by contacting the warranty center directly at 1-800-345-3358 Monday-Friday: 8a.m.-8p.m. EST and Saturday: 9a.m.-6p.m. EST or via email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best regards, Edward
A: If it was missing when you purchased then contact Home Depot. If lost afterwards then contact the manufacturer. They have replacement parts.
A: Yes, I have not replaced one but it does not look hard to do.
A: Calling Delta costumer service should get you the plunger knob as just a part. or you can buy the pop-up-assembly https://www.homedepot.com/p/Delta-Bathroom-Sink-Metal-Pop-Up-Assembly-in-Chrome-RP5651/202866891
A: Yes you should be abel to get just that part
A: Not sure. I have two of the same type of fauset and never had an issue with any one of them like you describe. Sorry I cannot help.
A: We have had this faucet for years and have never had this problem. Maybe turn your hot water under your sink so you do not have so much coming out. This might help as we had to do this with our kitchen sink.
A: I'm sorry for any inconvenience, David! Regarding the handle movement, it is usually easier to get a lukewarm temperature with the handle in the fully open position. You can then bring the handle toward the spout to reduce the flow. There are a few other things you may be able to do as well. Please try partially closing the hot water shut-off under the sink. This should allow for a more gradual adjustment from hot to cold. If you have an on-demand or tankless water heater, it may need to be adjusted so that it activates with less flow. We also recommend lowering the temperature of the hot water in your home if it is above 120 degrees. If you have any further questions, please feel free to call us at 1-800-345-3358 or email customerservice@deltafaucet.com. We’d be happy to help! Best regards, Jon
A: We have been using this faucet for a few weeks, we have had no problems
A: We have two of these. The one in the bathroom that has high volume use, has needed repairs for leaking at base of the handle, three times in six years. The other one, no leaking problem, just stiff to adjust. I agree it is very hard to control temp... Not good when in a hurry. So we now have decided to switch over to a center set-2 handle faucet.
A: I bought 2 of these faucets (one for each bathroom), and have not experienced this problem. The movement of the center arm is very controllable and the temperature adjustment is not as drastic as you describe. My brother installed mine for me, so I can't speak to any possible issue with the installation. And there could be the possibility that the faucet is defective.
A: David, I suggest you contact Delta. You may call the 1-800-345-DELTA (3358) Customer Service number and speak with a representative. Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. EST and Saturday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST Press 2 for Kitchen, Bathroom, or Tub/Shower faucets
A: Hi Frank, I don't think it has a lifetime guarantee. I recall seeing 10 years on the packaging, please check on the manufacturer website.
A: Yes, it comes with a life-time guarantee.
A: Frank, all I know for sure is that Delta will send parts as needed for their products forever, free of charge. Whether or not they will send you a whole new faucet, I have no idea.
A: I don't know. I like it a lot, it functions well.
