A:  Home Depot has shower surrounds in several dimensions. Just find one that fits your pan. I would not recommend trying to customize this one. It is built to overlap in the corners to prevent leaking. If you go cutting it down, you will open yourself up to a lot of trouble with leaks.

Unfortunately, at this time we only manufacture the UPstile shower surrounds to be installed directly to studs and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We do offer two models, 37684 and 39094-HD, that are installed by adhering it to walls and have a similar tiled look. Please keep in mind, however, that we only recommend adhering it to drywall or greenboard, not over tile. Currently at this time, we only manufacture this surround in 60" x 60" x 32", 60" x 74" x 32" and 48" x 74" x 34" and we do not recommend trimming this surround down to a smaller size. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are interested, we do manufacture glue up wall surrounds which can be trimmed to a smaller size. A:  Yes, just make sure you hit one of your studs. Truly, I wouldn't want to drill a hole in mine. Leaves you apt to having leaks. Why don't you just get a surround that has the seat molded into it?

A:  Hello handbbath, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta UPstile™ 48'' x 74" x 34'' Shower Wall Set and I am happy to help you today. You may install grab bars while installing this surround if you ensure you are attaching them to the studs. The easiest way to install the bar would be to use a jigsaw blade to cut the hole locations, install the mount to the stud, install the unit then complete the grab bar installation. Please ensure you measure and dry fit the unit a few times prior to cutting any holes in the surround as we cannot cover a panel which has been improperly cut under warranty, nor do we carry replacement panels for this surround. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend installing an ADA compliant shower seat in this unit and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We do manufacture one unit which has an integrated seat built into the shower, model 214836AC00, although this model is a one-piece construction and is typically recommended for new builds. A:  We just bought a set that was made for a 48" opening. They overlap just a bit but at least they are wide enough which is what we wanted. I don't remember the model number. We just picked out some we liked.

A:  Hello Progo, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta 48" x 74" x 34" UPstile™ Shower Wall Set and I am happy to assist you today. Please tape off channel with painters tape on the top and bottom of the channel and a drop cloth on the lower half. Apply adhesive, we recommend using DAP 3.0 Advanced Kitchen, Bath and Plumbing Sealant (model # 00790), in the smaller channel within recessed channel and scrape off excess with putty knife. In the larger channel, apply adhesive in a wave-like motion above and below the smaller channel and use 1/4" v-notch trowel to even the adhesive out. Place tile in channel and smooth grout over tiled channel and wipe clean. Seal all seams with sealant, you may use Dap 3.0, as this adhesive can double as a sealant.
