Generally speaking the most important measurement for this type of application is the depth measurement, you want the depth of the bracket to be between 50% - 75% of the depth of the overhang. So in this case you would want a bracket with a depth of 5" - 8"

Although these brackets have not gone through formal testing, under normal applications and assuming they are installed into a wall stud, they are more than sufficient to support over 100 lbs.
