A:  I don't see why you couldn't use it as long as it fits over your existing vent. Your furnace is high efficient and shouldn't blow that hot to harm this cover. It's well made with plenty of venting and keeps the birds from wanting to nest in the vent.

We do not recommend using this type of product over a high efficiency furnace vent as the constant high heat that high efficiency furnaces create can possible start to slowly melt it over time. The recommended type of protection for your vent (for a high efficiency furnace) is a metal screen adaptor.
