A:  This 4” foam was perfect.  My upholsterer was able to cut it to required dimensions. I will say it is very rigid so I bought some poly fil to stuff in the top of the seat and back cushions to give the cushions more cush and less rigidity. This foam was used on a glider on my screen porch.  I do keep my furniture covered when not in use. I’ve had this in use  3 years.
