The first is a fully built in model: PWB7030SLSS - and the second is also built in but would need a trim kit for proper installation: PEB7227ANDD - Here are the Stainless Steel trim kits for this model: JX7227SLSS & JX7230SLSS. Hope this helps! Happy shopping. -Michael@GEA

Q:Can the bottom of the oven rest directly on the cabinet base or is the 1” clearance absolutely necessary?

          Answer This Question

A:  Hello - Thanks for your question; we are happy to help! No, the oven should not rest on the cabinet base. On Page 3 of the installation instructions it actually shows 1 1/4" clearance (dimension G) for the 30" model ovens. This is a required clearance. We are glad you checked. Olga@GEA

A:  You should have the clearance as it circulates via air exchange and keeps it cool

Q:Is the black finish option a true shiny black or a matte black finish? I have to coordinate with my GE induction cooktop.

            Answer This Question

A:  Hi! Thanks for asking, we can understand wanting to check on this so that your other appliances match. The Black finish is more glossy. If you're looking for a more matte finish, take a look at Black Slate. This model comes in that finish under the model number: JTS5000FNDS. Take a look and see if you like it! Best wishes. -Michael@GEA

A:  Hello and thank you for being part of the GE Appliances family. We are sorry you did not receive a manual with your oven and that it is not available on Home Depot's website. Please reach out to us on social media and we would be happy to provide a link and even order a hard copy to be mailed to you if you wish. Thanks so much! - John@GEAppliances

A:  You are correct. There is no installation manual and there is no use and care manual on line or available for the unit at this time. I just checked the web site and it's not there. I'll bring it to the attention of the folks at Home Depot and I'm sure they'll find them and update their website.

Q:Does the lock feature stay in place while the oven is in operation? For example, if I am baking something and a toddler walks by, will they be able to touch it and turn it off?

                    Answer This Question

A:  Yes, the lock feature stays in place while the oven is operated.

                    by|Feb 20, 2021

A:  No. The lock feature is designed to keep the door from opening during the self cleaning cycle. You lock it, turn on the self clean cycle, set the length of time for clean and it cycles. Once the clean cycle is finished the lock will shut off.
