A:  Hello and thank you for your inquiry! The Gila Heat Control Titanium does provide some privacy during the daytime. Please also note that at night it does not provide any privacy from seeing inside.

A:  Hello Mary and thank you for your inquiry. If you have windows between your WIFI router and your device, say a screened-in porch, yes, a metalized film such as the Gila Heat Control Titanium could affect your WIFI. If there are no windows between the router and device, there would be no issue.

A:  Hello David and thank you for reaching out. Gila Heat Control Titanium can be applied to single or dual pane windows, even on west facing windows. You may notice the window feels hotter after applying the film. Gila Heat Control Window films can obstruct the transfer of the sun's heat from the outside of the window through to the inside of the room. The sun's heat must work much harder to move through a filmed window, with some of the heat reflected away and some solar heat absorbed by the film. When you put your hand on the film, you feel much of this absorbed energy.

A:  Hello and thank you for your inquiry! The Gila Heat Control Titanium is to be applied to the interior/room-side of your windows only. The film is not designed to withstand outdoor elements and therefore would void any warranty if installed on the outside/exterior side of the window.

A:  Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Wherever the greater source of light is, that is the side where the mirror or reflectivity will be. During the day, the greater source of light is the sun. Therefore, when looking into your home from the outside you will see a mirror image. When looking from the inside of the home to the outside, you will be able to see clearly. During the night, since the greater source of light will be the lighting in your home, when you look out your window, you will see the reflectivity or mirror image. Someone looking into your window from the outside will be able to see in if the lights are on indoors.

A:  Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Gila Window Films are intended to be applied to smooth glass surfaces. We do not recommend applying film to glass that contains any frosting or etching.
