Q:What is the proper height to mount this bar inside of the tub / shower area to assist with exiting the bathtub but provide stability if standing in the shower?

A:  Thank you. There is no specific measurement as it depends on the height of the person who will be using the Tub / Shower area. We suggest the person who is going to be using the bar assist with the placement of the height of the bar.

    A:  Thank you. This does not use set screws to hold the collar. You will need to push the collar onto the mounting bracket until it snaps into place. If you have a Grab Bar that has set screws, it is not this model.
