A: Brand new install-I handled every bit of it with care-my cartridge was bad out of the box. Cartridge was rattling and it would not shut off, leaked everywhere inside my wall while building my house. Got a new cartridge-no more leak. Never buying again.

A: Thank you. There may be an issue with the cartridge not being installed correctly or the Scald Guard Limiter is not set properly. You want to make sure the cartridge is seated, and the bonnet is tight against the Rough In valve. Also, starting on page 11 / Section 10 shows how to access and adjust the Limit stop ring. If you are still having issues, you can contact the Home Depot Customer Service department at 1-855-434-5224 and they can assist you further.
