Best to pour in outside of the vessel when filling. A:  Hello Dave, This toilet is rated for a 12" rough-in. While there is a little leeway built in, anything under 11.5" would be too small to allow a proper install. This will unlock the top portion of the valve, which you can then pull out to replace the seal. A:  Hello CharlieW, Thank you for pointing out the error, we are addressing with Home Depot. The overall width is 16-1/8" (tank lid), the bowl is 14-3/4", though the top (seat) is 14".

A:  Its a bad fill valve. I have yet to find a proper replacement with bottom fill as this one has. @Galcier Bay, do you have the replacement fill valve available?

A:  It's whistling because it likes what it sees. It may be flattering to some, but you shouldn't have to put up with that type of harassment. Either get a lawyer, or try to reseat the tank. In either case, the problem should get resolved.
