A: Before I made a decision to buy this model I did a considerable amount of research on the other popular models. I'm a professional painter with over 26 years experience and used pumps made by Spraytech, Titan, and Graco. While researching prior to purchase I compared this unit against two other Graco pumps the 390 PC and the Nova both of which have similar specifications and ratings. In the end the price of this unit compared to the other two mentioned is what ultimately made my decision to purchase this unit. I have had excellent results using the Greco Pro210ES for interior/exterior projects and solvent/waterborne coatings. Good pump for a fair price.

A: We bought our paint sprayer nearly a year ago and used it only once with great difficulty. Being quite expensive and “pro series,” we thought it would work better than the less expensive one we were replacing. That wasn’t the case at all. The sprayer continuously clogged. We contacted the manufacturer and it was suggested we buy another tip for it. After the initial expense, we were annoyed that we had to buy another tip. After doing so it still didn’t work well. I would not recommend this sprayer. Too expensive for such poor quality.

A: This is one of the major FLIPz tools for rebuilding houses. We picked ours up at the local Home Depot. If yours doesn't have one, stop by the Customer Service desk and they can have one for you in a day or two. Also ask about accessories. There are many and all add to the quality of the finished job.

A: Yes, that would be a good move. I purchased this as a gift for my son more than a year ago. Painting is his profession and he raves about this sprayer. He has owned others but he claims this one is a workhorse and is easy to use. As with any piece of equipment one uses it is necessary to take care of it and properly clean it and make sure the proper maintenance is performed on a regular basis to keep it performing efficiently.

Q:Which ones are double pumpers
by|Mar 31, 2018

Answer This Question
A: The PRO210ES is a major piece of the FLIPz tool set and has been used successfully for a long, long time on many, many houses. It uses a piston pump mechanism so material is delivered consistently on both the upstroke and downstroke. The pump can be replaced ... but there is only one pump on this unit and only one spray head and hose set.

A: This one has single pump, it can spray very quickly and go through a gallon of paint in no time. Don’t let the size fool you.

A: Chuck,
The Graco 210ES is capable of operating at the manufacturers specs you mentioned except for the GPM. The unit is rated at .47 GPM. Your product requires .75 GPM. With that said a larger pump or using a different product is the direction I would take.

A: Our team here at FLIPz has used this Graco sprayer for first coat primer on all types of surfaces from shiplap wood siding, to sheetrock to stucco to concrete block. It works very well and you should expect a very fine result. As with all applications from this tool, take great care at the end of the job to clean all parts of the spray path including the tip as well as possible with clear water. This will help make the tool last a very long time.

Q:what size of extension cord is required for this unit?
by|Feb 21, 2018

Answer This Question
A: I don’t see how many amps it draws in the specifications, but I ran mine all day on a 50’ #14 wire extension cord. Keep in mind the further you go, like 200’ you would probably need #12 wire.

A: We have used a heavy duty 100 ft. Cord. But the cord is about 6ft.
by|May 5, 2023
A: This sprayer is a mainstay here at FLIPz and we often use it outdoors where extension cords and longer spray hoses are required. It doesn't draw all that much power so a standard 50' or 100' electrical extension should be fine. If you are concerned about power draw or durability. then go big (or fat in the case of power cords) and spend a bit more.

Q:Im painting the sides of a building with heights that reach 50 feet. How high can I extend the hose in the air without losing pressure to the tip?

Answer This Question
A: Hi there, the graco 210 can be used with up to 200 ft. of hose, and with 3000 psi. you will not need to worry. You could go 200 ft. up and not lose that much pressure.
by|May 5, 2023
A: 60 feet! Hope this helps.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Here at FLIPz, we run a hundred feet of hose routinely and have never had a pressure problem. The tech support over at Graco tell us that 200 feet is also no problem. So, it looks like your 50 foot tall building should be okay with this unit. Remember to clean everything at the end of the day. It makes a huge difference in finished quality and tool longevity.

Q:how many amps? volts? what size generator will run this?
by|Jan 22, 2018

Answer This Question
A: it will work. You will want to use min. of 1800 running watts.
by|May 5, 2023
A: This sprayer maxes out at 1 HP ... that's right at 746 watts. At 120Volts, you'll draw 6.5 amps. At 220 volts, you'll be pulling maybe 3.5 amps. So, a 2,000 or 3,000 watt generator should have no problem with this equipment.

Q:Can I use Henry Tropicool roof coating with this? Anyone have any luck? Thanks
by|Sep 20, 2017

Answer This Question
A: Luck is not something we are going to ask for with an expensive tool on our job sites! This excellent piece of equipment has given FLIPz a lot of great results with all of Home Depot's paint and primer products. Our team is very careful to clean out the sprayer each and every time after use because we do not want to have to take this apart and clean every piece because of laziness or carelessness. This is not a hammer or a pry bar. Putting any product through this that is thicker than paint or dries faster or harder than paint is a gamble that we might take on a less costly tool. We wouldn't do it. Roof coating is NOT paint. You probably need a much more expensive and higher pressure sprayer for roof coating. If you do try it, consider thinning out the mixture before spraying AND cleaning very throughly twice as often as normal.

Q:Would this pump work for FIRETEX FX5120 Waterbased Intumescent Coating? It is pretty thick. The product info sheet on the coating recommends an HD .X23 - .X25 nozzle size.

A: Best to look at the material data sheet. Most times they will tell you what type of pump will push the material through the best.. If you use a pump that's to small, You'll damage the pump and/or the material will not go through it.
Also you can check how big of a tip you can use with this pump. I believe this one can go up to a .021
So I would say No, This pump is to small.
