A:  Just installed mu Gutterstuff. My neighbors have it also and don't seem to be bothered by whirlybirds, though they do go up once a year to clear the top os the mesh off for the rainy season.

They will let the ice and snow melt right through the filters and actually help the ice to melt faster. When temperatures go below freezing, the filters will just freeze in the gutters and will unthaw when the ice does.

A:  Hello, thank you for you reaching out! GutterStuff works really well with heavy rainfall because water can go directly through the porous material of the filter. If there are a few spots of the roof that get an extreme amount of flow, there are 'rain diverters' that are easy to find and install, and will disperse the water in those areas. As with any gutter filtration system, light maintenance is highly recommended to get off any stubborn debris or granules. If you just brush them off or give them a light spray every 6 months to a year, this should keep them in great shape year-after-year.

A:  Hello, thank you for your interest in GutterStuff! As long as you install GutterStuff in your entire gutter system, high winds will not be an issue. Regarding Florida weather, because of the sun exposure and humidity, I would recommend going with the Original or Pro series. That will provide UV & Germicide protection on your filters to keep them working properly year after year. The EZ series does have any extra coating, as this is our lowest grade. I would recommend either the Original, that has a top coating of the germicide protectant, or the PRO, which is fully coated in the protective coating. A:  No. You can just insert the foam into the gutter and you’re good to go. Nothing else is needed to secure them in place.

A:  There are various coating and warranties that make up the different models. GutterStuff EZ is the base model with no extra coatings and has a 3 year warranty. GutterStuff Original has a top coat of UV and germicide coating and has a 5 year warranty. GutterStuff Pro is fully coated with the UV and germicide coating, and has a 15 year warranty. GutterStuff FR has a top coat of a fire retardant coating along with the UV and germicide coating and has a 25 year warranty. GutterStuff Pro FR is fully coated with all 3 coatings and has a lifetime warranty.

A:  4" K-Style gutters are normally 3" deep. You probably have Fascia gutters as the size on those can vary. If you have 4" x 5.5" gutters, you will need a custom cut, which we can do. To order a custom cut, please call us at 866-766-3442. GutterStuff allows the water to flow through while leaves and debris will blow off. It is recommended to occasionally check on it and brush or spray off anything that remains behind. A little maintenance will allow GutterStuff to keep performing year after year.

A:  I would imagine that depends on the wind. A good wind or leaf blower should remove any leaves.

A:  They'll work but they dont fit that great.
