A:  Hello, the Luna shower doors are built with up to 1/2" adjustment for out of square measurements, which is sufficient to cover the amount you have. You can use the 60" width model but please note that this will mean you will have a wider overlap between the two glass panels and thus a smaller walk-through width. The retail price for these models is set by The Home Depot and is not something that we are able to affect.

For your second question, that is correct, while the installation can be done without the sweep, the soft sill may not be able to contain all water leakeage and where possible the sweep and all seals are recommended for installation.
