A:  Hello, thank you for your purchase of Home Decorators collection cellular shades. Kindly note the shade works with a self-adjusting mechanism. To activate the system, gently lower the shade to the full extension of the height and then raise the bottom rail back up to the headrail. You should start to feel the tension tighten. Repeat until the shade works as it should.
