A:  Selling an adhesive product can be challenging when surface preparation is not done correctly. InstaTrim Products perform very well as long as the surface has been cleaned properly. I invented InstaTrim 8 years ago and spent many months testing our proprietary adhesive. The largest failure point of our product is dust, dirt, grease and silicone. A:  Yes this product actually sticks and you can pull up restick if needed.

A:  In straight lines, the product sticks very well. If you try to go around door frames or around walls, it comes off. I imagine you could use a staple gun to secure it if you had to.

A:  Yes, InstaTrim will trim along a floating vinyl floor very well. It is CRITICALLY important to clean the application surfaces with a rag and acetone or isopropyl alcohol. A:  InstaTrim is designed to adhere to most surfaces in most situations. The ½" wide InstaTrim will cover up to a ¼" gap and the ¾" wide will cover up to a ⅜" gap. However, we cannot control whether the consumer follows the surface prep instructions.

A:  The colors of InstaTrim are represented in the first image of the spools on each listing. Keep in mind that every computer monitor or cell phone screen is different and colors will vary slightly depending on how bright you have the screen set, and what type of lighting is in the room where you are viewing it. The name of the color is shown under specifications further down in the listings. Regarding adhesive, we have designed InstaTrim to work optimally in most situtations, however, we cannot control how the consumer preps the surface prior to installation. A:  InstaTrim Products are a great alternative to traditional caulking and will last for many years. It is very important to determine if you have old silicone on the application surface. Silicone caulk is a rubbery and stretchy product commonly used in bathrooms. InstaTrim's adhesive WILL NOT stick to old silicone, nothing sticks to old silicone except more silicone.
