Q:Is the glass removable to have a completely open window?

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. I am not sure I understand your question. The unit has one operable sash which slides to open position. The glass itself is not made to "come out", unless for some reason it gets broken or has another issue that would require a skilled technician to replace the glass. Hope this answers your question.

    A:  Thank you for your inquiry. We do not recommend the painting of our vinyl product line. When we offered painted units, the painting was done in the factory, and not recommended in the field. We no longer paint our vinyl in the factory. The painted line has been discontinued and replaced with laminate.
