Q:how to take old tubing out and put new line and can it be taking a parted ?
by|Aug 13, 2020

Answer This Question
A: The old tubing can be removed and new tubing installed.
If there is a retaining clip where the tubing enters the
connector the clip must be carefully removed by sliding
It off. Next the sleeve the tubing goes into must be held
tightly against the body of the connector while the tubing
is pulled away from the connector. When the new tubing is
Installed make sure to push it into the connector with
enough force to insure the tubing is fully seated. Re instal
The retaining clip if one was used. Turn on the water and
check for leaks. If the tubing was fully seated there should
not be any leaks.

A: Hello,
The tubing can be removed by pushing in the fitting's collet and pulling the tubing from the fitting. Installation and removal instructions for this fitting can be found on page 4 of the catalog in the link below. Once the tubing has been removed from the fitting the collet and O-ring can be removed from the fitting for inspection. Answer This Question
A: yes, hot or cold.
by|Sep 8, 2020
A: Well Robert , and Yes will work on both hot and cold water lines, but don't handle freeze temps well, will crack and shoot water out. Just make sure you get a clean cut on the ends, and insert the lines straight into the fitting, and push till it stops. Don't twist the lines back and forth.
