      Answer This Question

A:  Hi GrandmaDede, thank you for your question. Kilz primers are not designed to be left uncoated as they are not formulated to perform like paint and are unable to withstand exposure to the elements for extended periods of time. We recommend top coating primers within 30 days of application to minimize dirt collection and chalking. So, after priming with Kilz3, follow with your paint of choice for long-lasting results. Have a great day! -Alex

A:  Hi Thomas, thank you for your question. If the surface remains chalky after cleaning the stucco, the best primer to use is Kilz Klear Primer. Then, you can topcoat with the paint of your choice after one hour or more.
