A:  The narrow side on mine is on the right. I didn't install it, I had someone do it for me. Hope this helps.

A:  Okay - So this has a mirror on the two front doors as well as mirrors on the back of the door. The back of the medicine cabinet is a mirror. You should be very happy - great quality and price.

A:  Both the left and right side should be the same. Look at the holes to make sure they are open and there is nothing blocking the acrylic shelf bracket holder from going into the hole. If it looks good, try swapping sides to see if they fit. If that fails contact Home Depot or Kohler. I had a good experience dealing with Kohler for parts for a faucet. They sent me the needed parts free of charge.

A:  The cabinet can be either recessed or surface mounted. Included are side mirrors that go on the outside forsurface mount.

A:  I would get rid of that carpenter since he didn't read the instructions as you can install it either way. Why do you think that they included two mirrors to install on the sides for surface mount? Mine is surface mounted and works great. Good luck!!!

A:  He is wrong. I surface mounted the cabinet. The directions specifically state it can be mounted both ways. If it is only recessed, why would it have mirrors on the side?

A:  When I bought mine, there was a kit available if it was to be surface mounted.

A:  From my experience they are not. I have had them for several weeks now and steam from the shower does fog up the mirrors. Quickly dissipates depending on your ventilation.

A:  Hi Joe, this is Sarah with Kohler customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. Two cabinets can be side by side, using the K-25063-NA medicine cabinet joining kit. Yes, the mirrored doors have a 1/2" bevel. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

A:  You will need a tiny gap so the mirror can swing open. Mine is next to a corner about a half inch away. Yes the edges are beveled.

A:  Yes, but very little. As the hinge opens you will need clearance of 1/8".

While we do not recommend altering the door, the screws could come out of the hinges and the doors be placed on the opposite sides. A:  You could probably take it out and flip it around (make the top the bottom and the bottom the top)

A:  not exactly sure what you mean by that question but if you mean they can be switched so the bigger door is on the other side, yes you can but they do open all the way
