Q:K4438 valve float will not float to shut the water off. It seems to be filled with water. Do I replace the flush valve?

A:  Hello Buddy, this is Keisha with Kohler Co. I am happy to address your question. If the float/fill valve is the issue then the fill valve would be flushed out and or replaced. This link, https://youtu.be/oD0HETCc-OQ will bring you to a video that will show you how to flush it out, if this does not resolve the issue then the fill valve GP1083167.         A:  Hello Mikey, my name is Kassi with Kohler Co. I'd be glad to answer your question. The K-4619 has been discontinued. The tanks are specific to the bowls that they pair with. I would recommend to get a new tank as well as a new bowl. Thank you for choosing Kohler.
