A:  Thank you for the question. Adding the 2-Track Storm Window will help reduce the noise. I do not have a percentage of noise reduction due to the fact it varies depending what the primary window it is going over. The noise reduction can be as great as 50%

      A:  Visit your local Home Depot store, and a store associate can order you any size you need as long as it is within the product's size range. For the L201ES, the size ranges are 14-1/2" to 44" for the width and 25-1/2" to 75" for the height.

        A:  Storm windows are not intended to be prime windows, so as long as the room you are installing them in is not expected to be insulated and lived it, that'll be fine.

          A:  I used these storm windows as a replacement for the old ones on my 80 year old house. The original windows are wooden sash weight but the storm windows I replaced were old but metal. They install very easily and quickly. Hope this helps!

            A:  For the L201ES storm windows, you need to engage the bottom sash finger pulls, lift the bottom of the panel up and then rotate the glass out of the frame. If you need additional assistance, please call into our Customer Care team at 888-483-3768.

                      A:  This window will measure close to 36" x 55", so your opening will need to be smaller than that. If you wish, you can always install the window over your opening as well. There is a nailing flange around the window allowing some trimming if necessary.
