A:  This magnet is too small and therefore would not be recommended to be used for this application.

A:  No. Actually these magnets are very strong (strongest there is) and can pull a lot. They are very hard to separate them.

A:  I don’t know what maximum pull means, but these magnets are strong as heck. They will fly out of your hand when they get anywhere kneel metal. I used them as stud finders in my garage ceiling. I was installing shelving and need to anchor them into the studs and they found the nails behind the drywall of my finished ceiling.

A:  The pull strength for this magnet is up to 4 lbs.

A:  Like all Neodymium magnets, they are very strong for their size.

A:  Old floppy disk, probably (but it would be a bit cumbersome. Hard drive, probably not.

A:  An old floppy disc would be harmed using a NEO magnet. Putting a NEO magnet on a hard-drive surface would damage it or wipe data/disrupt data. However, using just a NEO magnet may not 100% destroy all information on a hard-drive or floppy.

A:  Too strong for my project, gorilla glue or super glue won’t even hold it down

A:  This disc is N35.

A:  The 0.47 in. Neodymium Rare-Earth Magnet Discs (6 per Pack) is N35.

A:  They are very powerful, especially metal-to-metal. Most likely, yes.

A:  These magnet discs have 6 lb. maximum pull. The magnets will hold on to the blinds only if they are made out of steel. If the blinds are made out of aluminum or plastic the magnets will not hold.

A:  The neodymium rare earth magnets are some of the strongest magnets we have for their size. The strength of magnet needed is largely dependent upon the application. We carry magnets anywhere from 1lb. up to 150lbs.

A:  This magnet disc is not recommended for this application. For magnetizing a screwdriver you could use part 96814, MASTER MAGNETICS Screwdriver Magnetizer and Demagnetizer, or part 96424, MASTER MAGNETICS Blue Magnetizer/Demagnetizer.

A:  We are unable to answer the question without knowing the material and weight of your application.

A:  This is not a recommended use for this Magnet Disc. Without knowing the size of box you are making, we suggest using part number 97544, 12 in. Gray Magnetic Knife and Tool Holder, or PN 96494, Knife Holder, to hold the tools.

A:  The manufacturer notes it would not be very effective to use this Neodymium magnet to hold to flexible magnet. It is possible to do, but it would not be very strong.
