            A:  Yes, they can. Try some metal tubing.

              A:  Probably so as it is a thin foil tape. Mix up some steel wool and caulking to plug up the hole. If it is a large hole/gap make a cover of some kind and seal it in place.

                          Q:The min application temp says 20 deg with a min hold temp of 40 degrees. Does this mean I can apply when it?s 20 degrees but it won?t hold until a temp of 40 is achieved? Please clarify.

                          A:  Do not apply if temp is below 20 degrees and it does not hold well below 40 degree... so basically not good for outside applications.
