A:  When full, we move ice to a traditional freezer as we have found if you keep it in the maker too long, while it stays frozen perfectly, it tends to stick together.

A:  Yes an no depends on how quick u use the ice i make up abou 2 gallon zip lock bags a day for 2 days so i dont have to make it everyday its a great machine but for one person u can run it all day use what u need an shut it off or freeze any left overs in bags being n freezer makes the ice harder an last longer n ur glass

A:  The full hopper will keep ice for 24 hours but it will shrink and crystallize a little bit. The full hopper is easy to remove with ice inside so you could turn the unit off and place it in a freezer if one was nearby.

A:  The ice will remain in the basket and the unit will quit making ice when the basket is full. Ice does not need to be transferred if the machine is left on. Al
