Answer This Question
A: Our Pour-Over Coffee Maker uses a #2 cone coffee filter. The product does come with a starter pack of filters, but any additional filters would need to be purchased separately. You can typically find these filters in any local grocery store. We hope this information was helpful!

Q:If it is filled above the 12 ounce mark, how much more does that add? (Shooting for a 14 ounce cup if possible.)

Answer This Question
A: I use approx. 18 oz to get 16 oz cup
There is the soaking of grounds to degas coffee before the pour, so that absorbs some, next I don't merely dump the remaining 17 oz or so, but gradually poor until it's safe to dump the remaining water. Consistent cup.

A: That is 1 thing I like about it. You have total control of taste/strength & how much you drink per day. I like strong coffee. I use 2 Tablespoons for 6-8oz of hot water.

A: I haven't timed it, but it seems like it takes 2-3 minutes. The nice thing is you don't have to tend to it. Just pour you water into the clear hopper, go check your email and when you return you've got a fresh tasty cup!

A: That really depends upon how much coffee you have in the strainer. But for a strong coffe drinker like me, it takes about five minutes.
