A:  How much you’ll gonna need it would depend about how you will gonna apply it.  I cannot tell you exactly about quantity because we paint a long fence more than one year ago, and I do not remember how many gallons we used. We used an air pistol to apply it and Im pretty sure that we purchase at least like a 4 gallons, but my fence it is large and we covered both sides of the fence. If you’ll gonna use a paint brush, probably you’ll gonna use a lot if the wood never had been painted before. And we didn’t mixed with anything, I think you shouldn’t because you’ll gonna mess up with the quality of the protection.  I can tell you that my fence looks very nice compared with other fences which weren’t painted at all. The natural color it is not completely translucent, it would look like the color of the wood after been wet for a long time, but it is the sealant with the less amount of color of this brand.  Nevertheless, it is a great sealant, we are really proud about our fence, it looks like a new fence all the time, I wish I can send you some pictures.
